ATLANTA, Georgia – The LoRusso Law Firm is pleased to announce that Rebecca L. Sample was recently named an associate of the Atlanta-based litigation firm. While attaining her law degree, Rebecca served as a law clerk with the LoRusso Law Firm for over a year. In May, she graduated cum laude with a pro bono distinction from the Georgia State University College of Law.
“I met Rebecca during her second year in law school, and we have worked together on numerous cases,” said the firm’s founder Lance LoRusso. “She is a great addition to our firm because she has a passion for helping clients and strives for excellence in litigation.”
Rebecca worked as a paralegal for several years before deciding to become an attorney. While in law school, she served as an intern for the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council in the Cobb County Solicitor’s office. She also worked for a year in the Fulton County Solicitor’s office through the GSU College of Law’s externship program. Through both the internship and externship programs, Rebecca tried both bench and jury trials in Cobb and Fulton Counties.
As a member of the GSU Student Trial Lawyers Association, Rebecca competed in two national trial competitions. She won Best Advocate for her round in the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers competition in 2008.
Rebecca is a native of Annapolis, Maryland, but has lived in Atlanta for the past 15 years. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and studied abroad at Oxford University in the United Kingdom. Rebecca resides in Avondale Estates with her two cats and enjoys traveling, diving, sailing and baseball.
